Biography:

Anna Peacock grew up in The Netherlands, but graduated with a MChem from the University of York. She then went on to complete a PhD under the supervision of Professor Peter Sadler FRS at the University of Edinburgh in 2007. After this Anna moved to a post-doctoral position at the University of Michigan with Professor Vincent Pecoraro. In 2009 she joined the School of Chemistry at the University of Birmingham, where she is now a Reader in Bioinorganic Chemistry, leading a research group focused on the de novo design of miniature metalloproteins, based on the coiled coil motif, with abiological properties.
