Title: Construction of stimuli-responsive materials containing a metalloporphyrin-peptide conjugate as a building block
Koji Oohora, born in Osaka, Japan, received his PhD from Osaka University under supervision with Prof. Takashi Hayashi in 2011. During his PhD, he worked with Prof. Thomas R. Ward in Switzerland in 2010. In 2011, he joined Osaka University as an assistant professor, working with Prof. Takashi Hayashi. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Frontier Research Base for Global Young Researchers in Osaka University as a tenure-track assistant professor. He received several awards including PCCP Prize 2019. His interests lie at artificial metalloenzymes and biomaterials constructed by combinations of porphyrinoid metal complexes and protein/peptide.
