Title: Shedding Light on the Kinetic Mechanism of Amyloid-β Metal Ion Interactions by Ultrasensitive Fluorescence

Biography:
Dr. Liming Ying is a Senior Lecturer in the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. He obtained his PhD in physical chemistry from Peking University. After postdoctoral studies in the University of Cambridge, he was awarded a BBSRC David Phillips Research Fellowship. His research focuses on developing and applying ultrasensitive fluorescence approaches, especially single molecule fluorescence, to address biomedical questions. He has authored/co‐authored over 90 peer‐reviewed papers with an h‐index of 32. He served as the President of the Chinese Life Scientists Society in the UK (CLSS-UK) between 2017 and 2019.
