Biography:

Myriam Cotten is Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Science at William & Mary. Previously, she served in tenured positions at Hamilton College and Pacific Lutheran University. She received her associate and bachelor’s degrees in chemistry from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI), a master’s in chemical engineering from Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Organique et Minérale, France, and her doctorate in chemistry from Florida State University. Her research combines the fields of biochemistry and biophysical chemistry to investigate bioactive peptides and lipids. Her recent work focuses on the synergies that exist between anti-infective agents.
