Biography:
Dr Jamie Platts is a Reader in Computational Chemistry at Cardiff University, having been a member of academic staff there since 1999. He graduated from Glasgow University in 1993 and completed a PhD in theoretical chemistry at Cardiff in 1996. He then took up post-doc positions in McMaster University, Ontario and University College London, before taking up his current post.
